About Outcomes from the 1st Fundraising event: "Help Our Neighbor…

We-Woori held the first fundraising event in Nov. 1st (SAT) to help neighbors in Idaho.

Every member worked diligently to make their team's contribution meaningful, and that effort paid off through diverse programs—most notably a K-food stand featuring authentic dishes like Japchae and Kimchi prepared by Naomi Kim and Whitney Park, which served as a major highlight of the event. The event’s success was further bolstered by the Black Diamonds dance team and local K-pop enthusiasts, who assisted with both performances and event logistics. This collaborative effort between We-Woori members and the broader Korean community ensured that the debut fundraiser was both a cultural celebration and a significant financial achievement.

We-Woori collected the monetary funds ($1,749.85) and in-kind donations from the event and donated them to the two local organization selected by the members, Idaho Learning Lab and Veterans Home Boise, taking considerations into they have historically supported Korea and served Korean community members in Idaho.
